Hi my name is Max Silva. Its a pretty easy name to remember. I am from Pawtucket Rhode Island and I'm 18 years old. I went to William M. Davies Career and Technical High School. Its in Lincoln Rhode Island if you're wondering where the hell it is. During my high school years I played for the varsity basketball team. In fact I made the team my very first year as a freshmen. I was ranked among the top players in Rhode Island my senior year and had to chance to play for Thomas College up in Waterville Maine but I turned it down to come here, at URI.

I have a twin brother named Michael. He's also a freshmen here at URI and just like me he wants to teach also. I think we both want to teach because of my father. He's a high school principal. I have six sisters and they're all half sisters. Delma, Melba, Selma, Jasmine, Jocelyn, and Jalani. And recently I have been getting a lot closer to my mother. I feel like she's my new best friend.

If you couldn't tell by now I love to play basketball and just chill with my boys. Most people assume the wrong things about me. Mostly everybody thinks I love going to the club and listening to "gangsta" music. But I'd much rather just chill at home with a girl or one of my friends. I love listening to music. I listen to everything and anything thats good. My favorite artists are Jay-Z, Drake, Kanye West, Little Wayne, T.I., Usher, Chris Brown, Ne-Yo, Trey Songz, Maroon 5, John Mayer, John Legend, Nickel Back, and Lloyd to name a few. If I name every artist in my ipod it would take up the whole page. Oh yea I even got some Rascall Flats and Keith Urban in my ipod too.

I'm majoring in Secondary Education and English. I want to minor in Political Science but I'm not sure yet. I want to teach because I want to make kids feel that they can do anything they put their mind too. And it just looks like a pretty cool job. Rest a sure that I'm going to be one of the coolest teachers, ever.

And one last thing, I am currently working on writing a book. The title of my book is called "All Jokes Aside in 60 Days". Its about a kid(Espyn) who was never taken seriously through out high school and he wants to win back the girl of his dreams(Ariella). There's sixty days left in his senior year and he plans to get Ariella back. On the last possible day, which is day sixty and graduation, he goes out on a limb and wins her over. My inspiration for this writing this book is relationships and how they control our every move and though without us even realizing. Also the teen movie craze back in the 80's is a big part of it too. So far all I have is the first two chapters. I plan to make it one of those books with short chapters but there's going to be like fifty plus chapters.
